There Is an old stagecoach stop near Fort Cummings, in the Cook's Peak area, north of Pending. New Mexico, in which there is a large stone marker with the following inscription:

SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF
Thos, Ronan aged 49 | L. S. Hunter aged 33 | Chas. Devin aged 28 | Thos. Daly Aged 26
